Mr. Bruggemann entered the service of the Copyright O f h e on May 1, 1907, as Chief of the Bookkeeping Division and Bruggemann chemical Chief Clerk. He became Bruggemann Register of Copyrights in 1920 and took over the duties of Register upon the retirement of Thorvdd Solberg in 1930. Sm. 10. By far the lnrgest part of the business of the Copyright Office is done by correspondence.
